Max/MSP/Jitter
connect anything, 2000-present
Since 2000, I've worked for San Francisco-based software company Cycling'74, as a developer, product manager, and content consultant. Our primary product is a visual programming language called Max, originally developed by Miller Puckette at IRCAM. Jitter, the project I am most involved in, is a suite of externals that expand the capabilities of Max/MSP by allowing for the real-time generation and manipulation of n-dimensional numeric data in the form of matrices. This allows a Max programmer to work in real time with video, generative 2D and 3D (OpenGL) graphics, large-scale datasets, and anything else that can be thought of that fits this model.
